Since 1946, VPR has been dedicated to promoting and protecting the equestrian lifestyle. Whether you are new to horsemanship or are an advanced rider, we have a community of like-minded horsemen & horsewomen who welcome you to our club.
Our 14-acre property has impressive show grounds including a modern clubhouse, two meticulously maintained arenas, two round pens for turnouts, pipe stalls, plenty of parking for day-use and direct access to the spectacular San Luis Rey Riverbed trails.

October Schedule Highlights
Hi Members, Prospective Members, and Friends of VPR,
October is shaping up to be a busy and fun month at VPR, and we hope to see you out at the club! Here’s what’s coming up:
🚨 Friday, October 2 | 9:30 AM – FREE Disaster Preparedness Community Clinic
Join us for a free community clinic focused on disaster preparedness. Please see the above flyer for more information and details on how to RSVP.
🐎 Saturday, October 3 - Trail Ride - - start time is 10AM
Looking for some trail-riding company? 🌳☀️ This date and time are on the calendar for anyone who would like to meet up for a ride through the riverbeds. Please note that this is an informal ride—there is no designated ride leader and attendance is not guaranteed.
🐎 October 9 - 11 — SCHC Show & Facility Closures
Beginning October 8, the arenas will be closed at 5PM for preparation for the SCHC show.
🚧 The facilities and grounds will be closed October 9–11. Members may walk their horses through the property for trail access during this event.
📋 Wednesday, October 14 | 6:30 PM – Board Meeting
Members are welcome to attend and address the Board during the first 10 minutes of the meeting. The meeting agenda will be emailed to members prior to the meeting.
🔒 October 16 - 18 — Private Facility Rental - Clubhouse and Grounds Closed
The entire VPR grounds and facilities will be closed for a private rental. Members may walk their horses through the property for trail access during this event.
🌳 Wednesday, Oct 21 | 6:00 PM – Parks & Recreation Presentation & Q&A prior to the potluck
Before our monthly potluck, the Department of Parks and Recreation will give a short presentation and Q&A regarding the Bonsall staging area. Please join us if you can! 🙋♀️🙋♂️🐴
🌞 Wednesday, Oct 21 | 6:30 PM – Member Potluck

🏡 October 30 - November 1 – Boos and Moos Ranch Sorting Campout Weekend
